Office Manager
An Athens Georgia native, Nickie’s roots are grounded in the same familiar areas that Gravity Junction calls home. Introverted at first, getting to know Nickie on a deeper level, like many good things in life, takes time. Her words are always meaningful and poignant, and the relationships she treasures are earned. Gotta say, we love and appreciate this quality about Nickie. Not to mention, listening is her superpower, a skill this world desperately needs!
As an Emannuel College grad, Nickie studied business administration, consistently made the Deans and Presidents Lists, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Not only is Nickie incredibly bright, but she's also a stinkin’ great person. Nickie has traveled the world to help others through missionary work. Her travels extended to New York, Africa, Honduras, and Thailand. She brings a boatload of experience to her office managing role. This may have something to do with the fact she’s been working in accounting and office roles since she was, oh you know, 17 years old. NBD.
When she’s not crunching numbers or ensuring offices run smoothly, you can find Nickie shopping, thrifting, or hanging with her puppy-eyed fur babies, Junior and Daisy.
“I just want others to be able to say that I do my job, and I do it well. I like to make the lives of those around me easier and more functional. Your work is safe in my hands.”
We’re BEYOND pumped to have this hardworking overachiever join our team.

Gravity Junction’s newest team member, Brian Fleming, brings a love for logic puzzles, problem-solving, and providing over-the-top customer satisfaction to the Gravity Junction team as a web developer.
Brian has been a developer for 12 years and is a lifetime learner, seeing everyone he meets as a valuable piece of life’s lessons.
Passionate about God, his family, and someday building a big front porch, Brian encourages balance in his life (similar to the balance he uses to keep a broom standing upright on his chin).
If Brian was given a superpower tomorrow, he would want to possess the ability to change probability (typical developer).
Brian has accomplished much in his career including starting and running his own company. All in all, Brian is overwhelmingly thankful for being on a path that will allow him to meet the expectations he has for his family.
One day, Brian will have 2.5 children, a white picket fence, and the porch of his dreams where he’ll be able to relax and sip on his drink of choice, a single barrel scotch.
Content Specialist
As a native Mississippian and content creator, Sydney Lucero, comes to the Gravity Junction team with a stacked resume and an unmatched determination to provide client satisfaction.
As a student at Mississippi School of the Arts, Sydney’s short fiction was recognized by the Eudora Welty Foundation. She also received two national awards from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. (No biggie). Upon graduation, Sydney landed a position at a podcast production company where she put pen to paper, (maybe we should say fingers to keyboard?), in her role as in-house writer.
After spending two years with the podcasting company, Sydney took her career into her own hands and began working with independent clients. Since then, Sydney has worked on more than 70 podcasts, writing copy, scripting interviews, and embracing the intricacies of social media marketing.
As a wildly talented writer, Sydney takes a unique approach to working with clients and generating content.
“I'm incredibly attentive to personality. That lets me write things that are unique while still being tailored to the brand's voice. I believe everything has its place and purpose which helps me understand every angle of a story.”
While professional awards and accolades are awesome, and she’s already collected her fair share; she measures her success on a different scale.
“I feel like I can't measure my success by how it benefits me because my genuine happiness comes from putting it out into the world. (That's a kind of an airy, meta-ass answer, but I'm a simple girl. What can I say?)”
When she’s not bettering society through written work, you can find her hiking, camping, cooking, geocaching, road-tripping, ghost hunting, watching trashy Youtube, true crime, and bad conspiracy theories, thrifting, creating inappropriate art and obsessing over Scooby-Doo.
“I just want a nice garden and lots of candles, books, good food, and good company. I want to see, touch, and feel as much as I can while I can. Travel literally everywhere. Everything is new once, right?”
Her personal aspirations will make you want to curl up in a warm cottage across international waters, read a good book, and enjoy the simple things in life. We admire her for that!
Software Engineer
Who is Wayne? He’s a Hobbit loving guitar swinging badass that designs software by day and cuddles plants by night. Seriously, this guy really loves his plants. Sometimes too much...
Anyways... Wayne’s a veteran Software Dev with over 25 years of experience and a Computer Science degree from Western Michigan. He comes to Gravity Junction having designed software at world class companies like Booking.com, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Maestro.
He spent time posted up in Amsterdam & loved hopping over to London whenever he could. If you ever see Wayne out & feel like buying him a drink, make it Bell’s Oberon.
He’s most proud of the time he rolled 40 companies & 500,000 employees and all of their technology together. No big deal. Wayne wants people to know that he’s not a typical tech guy. He loves interacting with customers and working to find solutions to hard problems. That’s a rare thing and special indeed.
Wayne dreams that one day he’ll be able to swing a real lightsaber.
Kari is a Chicagoan with a penchant for dipping sauces, warm weather, copywriting, and content creation. From a young age, Kari knew she wanted to be a writer and decided in junior high school that she would someday become a journalist. Well, as you may know, print journalism took a hit (newspapers just aren’t making the same splash they used to) and Kari pivoted her career aspirations as a student at Illinois State University.
Graduating with a degree in public relations, Kari started her career as an intern at a large PR firm but quickly learned that digital marketing was more of her forte. From there, Kari left the agency world and spent time at both nonprofit organizations and in corporate settings.
After cutting her teeth for five years in traditional 9 - 5 roles, Kari took a leap of faith and took her career into her own hands, deciding to pursue freelance marketing. In December of 2019, fate so happened to introduce her to Gravity Junction and since then she has taken on roles with the SupaNova team writing blogs, editing copy, and drafting social media for a handful of clients.
When she’s not behind a computer screen, you can find Kari milling about the city, trying out new bars and restaurants, exploring different neighborhoods, and walking through (and enjoying White Claws in) her favorite parks.
